Well, the sun is (finally) out and I can (nearly) smell the hot dogs on the grill! It has been another busy Spring and all of us at TVD look forward to a happy and healthy summer and wish all of you also a wonderful 4th of July!
And speaking of celebration, I want to give a particular shout out to our own Christie Warner, who came back from maternity leave this week just in time to share her birthday cake with us AND to let us honor her NINE years at The Village Doctor! As I write this, I realize that team longevity is part of The Village Doctor difference. I feel very lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful and committed colleagues. Please join me in welcoming Christie back “home”!

As the weather gets warmer, and as the 4th of July is upon us, it seems only appropriate to point out that fireworks are ILLEGAL in the County of San Mateo. Of note: Fines for violations of the County’s Fireworks Ordinance were increased in May 2021 to $1,000 for all violations Parents are responsible for damage or injuries caused by their children using fireworks Renters and property owners face fines if fireworks are used on their property. All fireworks are illegal, even those labeled ‘safe and sane’ such as sparklers, fountains and snakes. You can read more HERE.
