Mary Nickel

Though first exposed as a young child to herbs and Eastern healing modalities, it was not until many years later as an adult living in Asia that Mary was inspired to seek formal training. She received her training in Traditional Chinese Medicine at San Francisco’s American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. As a licensed acupuncturist, she has studied under local masters Matt Callison and LiFang Liang specializing in Sports Medicine and Women’s Health.

By using the ancient Chinese healing arts, Mary Nickel, is focused on helping you feel better fast. In fact, some patients feel better the minute she walks in the room. But they all rely on her skills to relieve stress, headaches, stiffness and whatever else is causing discomfort. “I want to see people who say “I can’t”; I can’t sleep. I can’t raise my arm. I can’t move. And I want to change that to “I can.” I love helping people with pain. I want to ease their pain. Teach them about being still, being quiet, to calm their nervous system because that’s going to help their healing. That’s what I’m trying to do. I’m just the facilitator. And they are actually their own healers.”
