I am so thankful to have been a part of this special practice for the past seven years. I am surrounded by such skilled, gifted, compassionate colleagues. And I get to witness the response by our extraordinary members to their care. Recently I participated directly in that interaction. My daughter is so fortunate to be a member of The Village Doctor and benefited from the unhurried attention we offer our patients. In an appointment with her doctor, well past the point the visit would have had to conclude in a typical practice, the doctor’s attention was caught by a simple hand gesture my daughter made. It led the doctor in a new direction for treatment that has helped my daughter enormously–because she’s an excellent physician and because she was able to watch her patient instead of the clock. And for that I am so grateful.
