How Can We Help?

Should I take my family to our vacation home to keep them safe?

Probably not. Although you will likely be surrounded by fewer people (and likely nicer surroundings) you should really be “staying home” anyway, especially if your family includes anyone over the age of 60, or with chronic medical conditions. Additionally, your more remote getaway may not have the support services that are available in the Bay Area (grocery and food delivery, better health care delivery, and (hopefully soon) COVID testing). Mountain homes also have the relative risk of altitude and less oxygen. Unless flying private there is also the exposure from simply getting from here to there. Sounds like there is “no place like home”, if you STAY HOME. (June 25, 2020)
