At The Village Doctor, we always want our patients to be glad they called. Whether it’s to speak to a member of your clinical team, make an appointment, request a prescription refill, or find out about an upcoming event, most often you’ll first reach our Front Desk Administrator, Elena Puccetti. Far from being a receptionist tasked with simply taking messages and transferring calls, our clinically trained Front Desk Administrator can be thought of as the Concierge of TVD. When you speak with Elena (or the Staff member that may be covering her) you’ll be asked the reason for your call. It’s not out of curiosity; it’s to make sure your interaction with The Village Doctor is as efficient and productive as possible. Elena can then either transfer the call to your physician or medical assistant who will be prepared for your conversation or simply take care of your request herself.
